DAY 7..

We decided to go to Kyoto today to do some sightseeing. Kyoto was very cold, a lot colder than Tokyo and Osaka. We went to the visitors center and purchased an all day bus pass, which was pretty convenient. Our first stop was to the Kinkaku-Ji Temple, which is known for their gold leafed pavilion. Prior to entering the temple, we decided to stop and eat Katsu Curry, which was absolutely delicious, just look at our plates. Once we arrived at the Kinkaku-Ji Temple, it started to snow. At one point, it was snowing like crazy!! The location was very nice, and very scenic. After the temple, we caught a bus and went to the Nijo Castle. The castle was really big, and was a lot better than the Osaka Castle. After the castle, we wanted to go to Nara to visit the largest wooden building in the world, which is also home to a very large Buddha, but we ran out of time. It was almost 4pm, and that location closes at 4pm. Bummer. We decided to head back to Dotonbori for dinner and shopping. We all felt like eating ramen, so we ended up at a ramen shop, which was good. I don't think I've had a bad meal yet since I've been in Japan. Enjoy the pictures..
