We started the day off with Sushi, at a Sushi conveyer belt restaurant. Sushi was decent, but definitely not as fresh as the places near the Tsukiji fish market. Sushi trays were cheap at 130 yen, and the slices of fish were very large. We then head out to Harajuku to check out the people, and to check out the Meiji shrine. I was somewhat disappointed with Harajuku, as there weren't too many people dressed up. And of the people who were dressed up, it was hard to take pictures, and they didn't want to be photographed. The Meiji shrine was cool. I was surprised at how many people were there. There appeared to be an ice carving contest going on, as there were about 40 ice carvings, all very elaborate, with a lot of detail. After shopping and walking around Harajuku, we went to Akihabara, which is the electronics/toys district of Tokyo. They have HUGE stores with multiple stories of the latest electronics. We saw a 103" flat panel TV!! Anyways, enjoy the pictures..
